Use of System (UOS) Charge

As announced by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and SP Group, starting from July 2022 usage month onwards, a one-time adjustment of Use of System (UOS) charge will be applied.

The one-time adjustment of UOS charge will apply to the non-standard price plans only, which are Super Saver 36 and Stack It Up 24.

The Use of System (UOS) charge covers the cost of transporting electricity through the national power grid. The increase in UOS Peak and Off-Peak period charge is at 0.18¢/kWh (inclusive of 7% GST).

The one-time UOS charge will be applied to your existing electricity bill starting from July 2022 usage month onwards. Refer to Table 1 and 2 for further illustration on the adjustment of rates.
